It is a tidy natural spot, without heavily urbanized areas or aggressive tourism, and with great assets such as the landscape, tradition, and leisure within a privileged frame. Its main attractions are: the natural spots in Serra Cavallera and the headwaters of the rivers Ter and Freser; the Romanesque present in Queralbs, Fustanyà, Santa Magdalena, Dòrria, and Toses; the country and Pyrenean houses in Serrat, Bruguera, and Nevà; Vall de Núria, with the only cog railway in the country, etc. Vall de Ribes represents an incomparable natural spot with many leisure possibilities right in the Pyrenees.
